Meeting with HE Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas OCCI Chairman

Oman offers a wealth of business and investment opportunities for Hungarian SMEs and Hungary could serve as a gateway to the Central European market for Omani companies - said HE Faisal Al-Rawas, Chairman of OCCI. Hungarian President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry HE László Parragh and General Vice President Mr Ferenc Miklóssy also sent a letter of congratulation to HE upon taking up his new role.

HE Mr Barnabas Fodor conveyed a written message from HE László Parragh President of Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and HE Mr Ferenc Miklóssy General Vice President addressed to HE Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas congratulating to HE Al-Rawas for being elected to be the new Chairman of OCCI. During the meeting the Chairman Al-Rawas and Ambassador Fodor discussed ways for further enhancing bilateral trade and business ties between the two friendly countries after the historic visit of HE Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Albusaidi foreign minister of Oman to Budapest, Hungary in December 2022. On the meeting Mr Balazs Albertini, deputy head of mission, first secretary of the Embassy was also present.
