On the 21st October 2019, H.E. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs & Trade of Hungary paid an official visit to Muscat, Sultanate of Oman to officially open the Embassy of Hungary. The Hungarian Foreign Minister also concluded a political consultation agreement with Oman’s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, and met with the Minister of Trade & Industry. H.E. Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidi, Finance Ministry Secretary General H.E. Nasser bin Hamis bin Ali Al-Jashmi, President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI) Qais Mohammed Al-Yousef, and the Minister for Higher Education H.E. Dr. Rawya bint Saud Al-Busaidia.
