This is to inform you that in accordance with Decree no. 341/2020 (VII. 12.) of the Government of Hungary, entry regulations to Hungary have changed from 15th July 2020.
Based on their current level of COVID-19 infection, countries are classified into three groups: green (low infection level), yellow (less serious infection level) and red (severe infection level).
The Sultanate of Oman is currently classified as a country with severe infection level (’red’).
Accordingly, applications for and issuing of short-term visa (’C’) at the Embassy of Hungary in Muscat remain suspended until further notice.
Applications for long-term visa/residence permit in special and exceptional cases (e.g. for the purpose of study) can still be lodged at our Consular Section.
