The Embassy of Hungary in Muscat has outsourced the reception of visa applications to an external service provider. Accordingly, from March 3, 2023 on, Schengen C-type applications can be submitted at the visa center of BLS International in Muscat instead of the consular section of our embassy.

His Excellency Ambassador Barnabás Fodor and Managing Director Sonia Taneja symbolically opened the Hungarian section in the presence of Operations Manager Anilkumar Balakrishnan at the visa center located in Wattayah district.
Starting April 2024, D-visa applications entitling to receive a residence permit (studies, research, family reunification, employment, etc.) can also be submitted at this visa center. Please note that D-type application forms have changed, only new application forms will be accepted.
Attestations are still done at the consular section of our embassy following prior online appointment.
